BURLINGTON, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 19, 2006) - AIC Global Financial Split Corp. (TSX:ASC)(TSX:ASC.PR.A.) today announced that a monthly cash distribution in the amount of $0.10 per Class A share ("Class A") and a quarterly cash distribution in the amount of $0.13125 per Preferred share ("Preferred") of the Corporation will be paid on October 12, 2006 to Class A and Preferred shareholders of record as of September 29, 2006.
